Two members of the team went forward to the disaster area and had adventures. The rest of the team continued the mapping action and we were joined by two Pakistani GIS experts (reported in yesterday's sitrep).

The whole team was 'in residence' today, no trips out. A full day, but not one principal deadline to focus the effort; instead a myriad of separate task deadlines. We acquired a temporary GIS volunteer from Pakistan. A number of snippets of news from the wider MapAction activity.

Two recent arrivals have joined us, bringing our complement to seven persons. A recce trip was made north into the stricken area, and the disaster emergency remains betwixt rescue and relief phases.
