Albania Flooding, January 2010

Deployment Details

Continuous rainfall during November and December 2009 has led to water levels in the lakes and on the Drini River rising. As a result, the Shkodra and Lezha regions have been flooded since 27 December 2009. MapAction was requested by the EU-MIC to assist in flooding assessments in Northern Albania on Friday 8th January 2010.
